Buying a ticket implies entering into an agreement under the terms and conditions of Transportes Maritimos Geo Australis S.A. (hereafter called "The Company”) for passenger transportation.
The Companies reserve the right to modify the cruise rates and departure dates published in on this website and in their brochures without prior notice.
A deposit of $US300 per passenger is required to guarantee a provisional reservation. The final payment must be received by "the Company" at least 60 days before the departure of the cruise.
Any and all cancellations require written notice to "the Company". The following deadlines and penalties apply:
Passengers planning on trekking or hiking during shore excursions should have proper all-terrain footwear, raingear, hat or other head covering, and walking/hiking sticks if needed.
Even if you are not planning on venturing far from the ship or Zodiac boats, some sort warm, all-weather clothing is highly recommended for the changeable weather conditions in Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.
Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Diners credit cards, traveler’s checks, U.S. Dollars, Euros, Chilean Pesos and wire transfers are accepted.

- Infants between 0 and 3 years of age are entitled to a 100% discount when sharing the bed with their parents.
- Children between 4 and 12 years of age are entitled to a 50% discount when sharing a cabin with an adult.
Rates include accommodation, sea transportation, all meals, open bar when on duty (without additional cost for wines, beverages, and liquors), shore excursions and onboard entertainment. Optional tours and transportation are not included in the cruise rate.
Rates do not include port taxes, immigration fees and national park fees.Current port taxes per person are:
- Punta Arenas - Ushuaia route: US$ 60
- Ushuaia - Punta Arenas route: US$ 60
- Punta Arenas - Ushuaia - Punta Arenas route: US$ 70
- Ushuaia - Punta Arenas - Ushuaia route: US$ 70
These costs may be modified by the port authorities of each country.
According to the provisions of the National Forestry Corporation (CONAF), in the Protected Wild Areas of the Magallanes Region, the use of drones or any RPAS technology is prohibited.
